Alessandra Ambrosio is a Brazilian supermodel. She was described as “The future of the modeling world”, by retired supermodel Tyra Banks.She is a prominent model for Guess?, Victoria’s Secret and the UK company Next.
Her first big modeling job was the cover of the Brazilian Elle magazine, and then Ambrosio followed with other “editorial” work. It was not long after that the Guess? company signed her for their fall 2000 campaign. Ambrosio’s print career began as a Guess? model and continued with Revlon and Victoria’s Secret. She modeled on the Victoria’s Secret runway for the first time in 2000, and she continued to be a participant in the subsequent shows. In 2004 Ambrosio was selected as the first spokesmodel for Victoria’s Secret Pink line

That’s Just Wrong….
While Grindhouse kicked much ass as expected, the breakout star of it is Stuntwoman/Actress Zoe Bell….
She is my new idol. She totally stole the show playing herself in the film. She brought a manic but good-natured energy to every scene she was in. She was outstanding in her performance not only doing her stunts, but in her first time as an actress. You almost felt sorry for Kurt Russell’s Stuntman Mike when she went to whoop his ass. Almost….
She has done stunt work in Grindhouse, Kill Bill 1 & 2, Penny Dreadful, Devil’s Den, Reflections, Catwoman, and Xena: Warrior Princess….
But for me the pinnacle of her work is the whole “strapped to the mast” stunt in Grindhouse. That so rocked….
This week’s LLOTW is Slither’s Elizabeth Banks. Her movie roles include: Spider-Man #1-3, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Slither, Shaft, Catch Me If You Can, Seabiscuit, and Invincible.

Oh Yeah, That’ll Last….
This post is for those readers that are over 18+. If you are under that, don’t watch this trailer!!!!! (also those “gentle souls” who might be offended by nudity, violence and language!)
Since Grindhouse is opening tommorow I thought I would put up Eli Roth’s ( Hostel) “fake” trailer for the “fake” slasher movie Thanksgiving . One of the coolest things about Grindhouse is the use of today’s hottest horror directors (Roth, Rob Zombie, Edgar Wright) to shoot fake trailers to go in between Planet Terror & Death Proof.
It gives one the full grindhouse experience to watch “fake” trailers like Shaun of the Dead’s Edgar Wright’s trailer for Don’t Scream, or Rob Zombie’s trailer of Werewolf Women Of The SS. I mean hell who wouldn’t want to see Nick Cage as Fu Manchu in Zombie’s trailer.
And doesn’t Roth’s trailer seem like some derivative slasher movie that followed in Halloween’s wake back in the 70’s. You could almost swear you saw that film during some drunken night with friends watching B-movies years ago…
