Ever more quizes:
“Which Walking Dead Character Are You?”

You scored as Michonne II. You are Michonne. You were born a complete badass, but recent circumstances have made you even more badass than before. You are the definition of a survivor and can take on anything, but you’d rather just find a family and a home. Then you could rest.

You scored as Becoming, Part 2. Number 7 on the list (from season 2). You have loved and lost, and it has almost destroyed you. But along the way you have probably discovered just how strong you are. Stop being your own worst critic and your strength will have more meaning.

This week’s LLLOTW is the sexy little actress, Rachael Leigh Cook.
Her credits include : She’s All That, Josie & The Pussycats, Get Carter, The Final Fantasy Series, Nancy Drew, Robot Chicken, Kingdom Hearts 2, Las Vegas, Texas Rangers, Antitrust, Batman Beyond, & Dawson’s Creek.
She started modeling at the age of 10. She became famous for doing the “This Is Your Brain On Drugs” commerical. Her first movie was “The Babysitters Club”. She was ranked #26 in Stuff Magazine’s 102 Sexiest Women in The World in 2002.
I just picked up the new Heroes for Hire book out of Marvel and it is pretty kicking. The team of Palmiotti/Gray from the previous Daughters Of The Dragon limited series is back for this go round and they put together a pretty good little initial issue.
It introduces the new set-up for the DoD,. They become bounty hunters for the government set during the Marvel Civil War. They deal with Iron Man’s group with the express demand that they will only grab the costumed lowlifes, but they will not go after the other heroes. Misty Knight demands to use Stark’s resources and pick her team from anybody she wants. He agrees.
So the team she picks is composed of Misty herself, Colleen Wing, Black Cat, Shang Chi, Humbug, Orka, Paladin, and a new Latina female Tarantula. We can only wish that Iron Fist and Cage were in this series, but alas not this go around as they are neck deep in the Marvel Civil War. Hopefully later on they will be….

I just got through watching the Netflix pilot preview of the new NBC series, Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip, and it looks like Aaron Sorkin has another hit on his hands.
The always captivating Amanda Peet stars as the aforementioned Jordan Mcdeere, who having just took over as the president of a fictional network, promptly has the producer (Judd Hirsh) of a SNL-type show go into a meltdown of Network-level proportions.
She brings back two old alums(Matthew Perry & Bradley Whitford) from the show who got fired a couple of years ago in to save the show. It looks to be a great behind the scenes take on the SNL form. I hope the rest of the shows are as good as the pilot!

“I think essentially the meaning of life is probably the journey and not really any one thing or an outcome or a result. I think it’s kinda the process and I think that if you can find happiness in the process then maybe that’s it. I just feel really in love with life and the life I’ve created with my family. So it works for me.”
“I don’t really see myself being a sex symbol at all.”
“I was a little turned off by the idea of doing another bitch. But my agent put it to me quite frankly, that you have to be known before you can be typecast.” (On her role as Cordelia)
Hi Y’all,

Here is a pretty good little clip from the Rocky Horror Picture Show’s Anniversary Show, of two of my favorite Buffy The Vampire Slayer Actors- Amber Benson & Anthony Stewart Head. ASH is a little disturbing as Dr. Frank’n Furter, though. & Elisa Donovon is looking hot in her hostess duties, too…

This week’s LLLOTW is the absolutely stunning Jessica Biel. She first shot to stardom with a main role on the show Seventh Heaven.

She followed up her early promise with roles in Blade: Trinity, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Stealth, Elizabethtown, Cellular, The Rules Of Attraction, and Summer Catch. She has a movie coming up with Edward Norton called The Illuisionist.

She was named Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive in 2005. She was named as one of FHM’s Sexiest Women in 2005 at number 21( up from # 30 in 2002 & # 82 in 2001). Vh1 ranked her as #98 on their 100 Hottest Hotties. She ranked as #99 in Stuff Magazines 102 Sexiest Women in The World in 2002. She was named #18 on Maxim Magazine’s Hot 100 in 2005.
Hey Mom….
Brits: The Other White Meat….
Today I went to see The Descent. It was a pretty good little movie. It was a very nice little import from the UK. It projected a nice sense of claustrophobia before the monsters even show up. When they do show up however, all hell breaks loose. Even more so when the Brit chicks start turning on each other. It is very much worth a look see at the movies….
Tony Stark’s House Of Ribs….
I just got through watching the new Ultimate Avengers 2 DVD from Netflix. It was overall a pretty good little animated movie. It was up to the standards of the first movie. The intro of the Black Panther was handled well. Hank Pym finally got a moment in the sun, which is rare for this regime at Marvel. The Gag Reel was hilarious. The previews for the Iron Man and Dr Strange movies looked promising….
More From The Maxim Photo Shoot…
Hi Y’all,
In order to scrub that last post out of my memory, here are another two pictures from this week’s LLLOTW Grace Park’s utterly amazing photo shoot for Maxim Magazine. If you haven’t yet watched Sci-Fi Channel’s new take on Battlestar Galactica, get thee to Netflix. Grace is doing a spectacular job with her role on this show.
Here’s some more quizzes:
“If You Were Turned Into A Cartoon Character Who Would You Be?”
I was Mickey Mouse….
Or:
“What Horror Movie Stereotype Are You?”
I scored as “The Hero”.
This week’s LLLOTW is the adorably sexy Grace Park. She is best known for her role as a fighter pilot/Cylon Robot on the cool-as-hell new reimagining of Battlestar Galactica. She is a wonderful actress who is doing some really challenging work on BSG. Is it any wonder all the guys are fighting over her on the show?
She is also known for her roles on The Dead Zone, Andromeda, Jake 2.0, Stargate SG-1, Dark Angel, The Outer Limits and the film Romeo Must Die. She was nominated in 2006 for an Asian Excellence Award.
And as seen from the still above, she also shot a blisteringly hot photo layout for Maxim Magazine….
The other day I watched Final Destination 3 when it came from Netflix. It was a decent little horror film in and of itself, but something about it struck me. That it could very well be a precursor to the future of film.
What makes me say that is the choose-their-fate feature on the DVD. Now granted a lot of the choices in the feature don’t affect the flow of the film too much. But fast forward the concept a few years, it might very well help the movies steal back some of their thunder from video games.
Imagine if a film was shot entirely with this concept in mind from the get go….
A Message From The Temple…

Creeeeppy…….
I have just run across a new cool little podcast/ website called Pendant Productions that does entirely new & original productions of old-time radio drama type shows. They recreate the experience of listening to the great old radio shows, but using the web to put it out. They do great work. They currently have several shows that they do, most based on preexisting characters that others own, but since these are entirely a labor of love and nonprofit, they are no legal issues for them to cross.
So far I have listened to three of the seven they produce. The ones I have checked out are- Superman:Last Son of Krypton, Wonder Woman: Champion of Thermiscyra, & Batman: Ace Of Detectives. The other ones they produce are Star Trek:Defiant, James Bond, Indiana Jones and a original called Dixie in the Sky Captain/Air Adventure vein.
Before my grandfather passed on, He used to like to listen to the Old Time Radio channel on my XM radio, so he could listen to all the old shows he listened to on the radio as a boy. I used to sit with him and listen to all the great old radio shows like the Shadow, etc. So it goes without saying that this type of thing makes me think warm thoughts. I hope that more people get into this…..
